Zolla is eating a whole deer leg

.I like to feed my dogs big, challenging meals. This provides them not only with a lovely nutrition but they also get plenty of mental and physical stimulation. Instead of sucking up kibble in a few minutes my dogs get to spend an hour, some time more on a big meal. And being a carnivores they are, they can put away a decent amount of meat and bones at once. Of course after such a big gorge meal they need to have a day or two without any food. I wouldn`t recommend this way of feeding to someone who just starting their dogs on raw. It takes some time for a dog new to raw to adjust to a diet and be able to handle large meals without too many digestive problems. For the beginners it is much better to stick with one protein, lets say chicken, for a few days, fed once or twice a day. When I have other people`s dogs staying in my house I mostly feed them chicken breast with ribs in. This is probably the easiest meal and even the dogs who never had anything raw in they lives can handle it easily.Kibble is not allowed in my house so all the dogs eat raw no matter how they usually fed. I never had a dog refuse good raw food.
